1. (47:1) Přednímu zpěváku z synů Chóre, žalm. (47:2) Všickni
národové plésejte rukama, trubte Bohu s hlasitým prozpěvováním.
1. To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.
2. (47:3) Nebo Hospodin nejvyšší, hrozný, jest král veliký
nade vší zemi.
2. For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
3. (47:4) Uvozuje lidi v moc naši, a národy pod nohy naše.
3. He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
4. (47:5) Oddělil nám za dědictví naše slávu Jákobovu,
kteréhož miloval. Sélah.
4. He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
5. (47:6) Vstoupil Bůh s troubením, Hospodin s zvukem trouby.
5. God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
6. (47:7) Žalmy zpívejte Bohu, zpívejte; zpívejte žalmy králi
našemu, zpívejte.
6. Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
7. (47:8) Nebo král vší země Bůh jest, zpívejte žalmy
rozumně.
7. For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
8. (47:9) Kralujeť Bůh nad národy, Bůh sedí na trůnu svém
svatém.
8. God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.
9. (47:10) Knížata národů připojili se k lidu Boha
Abrahamova; nebo pavézy země Boží jsou, pročež on náramně
vyvýšen jest.
9. The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
