The disciples looked around them
And the storm was all they saw
The wind and waves came from every side
Fear overwhelmed them
And to the Lord they cried
And speaking to the storm the Master said

Peace be still to the wind and the waves
Peace be still to the long and stormy gales
Peace be still and all came to a calm
For only by His power are battles won

Sometimes I'm overwhelmed and
Only see the storm
I only see the wind and the waves
And yet the Lord the Master over all
Is always there and in His Name I say

Peace be still to the whirlwind all around
Peace be still to emotions up and down
Peace be still to the fears in my mind
Oh Lord in Your Name I cry
